Composting 101

Due to the anaerobic conditions in landfills, the breakdown of food waste that ends up in landfills results in the production of methane gas.  Because methane gas has ~25x the warming power of CO2, one of the easiest ways to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions is to compost your food!
